Is artificial grass realistic?

Yes. Product development has resulted in synthetic turf no longer being the abrasive carpet that used to be found on astro pitches. New artificial grasses are engineered to replicate the characteristics of real blades of grass.

Can weeds penetrate the grass?

No – It produced on a very strong backing and with an installation the grass with a weed membrane underneath. The roots of the weeds have no chance of penetrating it.

Does artificial grass require any maintenance?

Is the grass child and pet-friendly?

Yes ourgrass is made from the highest quality yarns which have no toxic properties. All coatings, backings, glue, etc. that are used in the production process are also non-toxic, suitable for use by children, animals. Any dog or cat mess can be scooped, brushed or hosed away easily.

Does the grass lose its colour?

No. We provide grasses that have been manufactured using the finest polyethylene fibres which have been UV tested against colour fade for up to 15 years. Other factors such as pet urine will not discolour the grass either.

Is artificial grass suitable for poorly drained areas?

Yes, the grass has perforated latex backing which we install over a graduated hardcore and sharp sand base allowing the base to be firm and the water to drain away freely.

Is the grass slippery when wet?

No. Once the lubricants used in manufacturing have washed out, the yarns used are designed to give excellent traction in both the dry and the wet making it ideal for gardens, sports practise and pool areas.

What about the environment?

Artificial grass is environmentally friendly; requiring no water, no pesticides, no fertilisers or the use of energy or fuel to maintain it. With the way the climate is changing having the perfect lawn without the use of water is a great benefit.

Which turf is right for you?

When it comes to selecting which grass is right for you we recommend you;
1. Feel the difference – Always request a sample and feel the difference between the options in front of you.
2. Consider that he more grass the longer it lasts – Look at the product weight, this with tell you how much yarn (grass) is in each product. The heavier the product the better it should perform over time.
